Welcome to Fantasy Football Advice For the 2007 Fantasy Season!
Thank you for logging onto Fantasy Football Advice.
Many of our emailers were curious who is behind the website and how
we got started, so we decided to add this page to explain our history,
and our goal.
Back in 2002, two friends and long-time fantasy football adversaries:
Matt and Mike got together to tinker with our first fantasy football
site. We thought it would be cool to make a fantasy football website
where people could go and find everything they needed about fantasy
football. If we could provide people with good, up-to-the-date fantasy
football information and advice without bombarding them with advertisements
and crap, we knew we'd develop a following. We decided to do this since
we were frustrated with the poor quality of magazines and websites that
fantasy football fans had to choose from when seeking fantasy football
information and advice.
Each season while preparing for our fantasy football draft, we did
what millions of other fantasy football fans do....we went to the store
and bought a couple of fantasy football magazines so we could research
our prospective players and get ready for the draft. Unfortunately,
these magazines had some inherent problems. For one, their information
was often obsolete since the magazines were printed months in advance
of the NFL season, and as we all know, player rankings change often
as injuries occur and situations develop. More importantly, we found
that these magazines were written on an impersonal level and were more
concerned about making a buck then genuinely telling fantasy football
fans what was important.
We didn't have much better luck finding good websites on the internet.
The websites were either out to make a quick buck or they were of such
poor quality that they were useless.
We decided to take things into our own hands and develop our own website.
Our first website was full of good info and advice, but was seen by
only a handful of viewers since we were stumbling our way through the
world of designing websites and figuring out how to show up on search
engines. We were ecstatic one day to look down at the hit counter and
see that we had received over 5,000 hits during the course of the NFL
season. (We now get over 100,000). It became even more exciting when
people began to email us for advice and send us their fantasy football
questions.
Five seasons later we are still endeavering to provide the public with
the best fantasy football advice and information.
This year once again, our focus will be to help our customers win their fantasy football leagues by providing expert personalized advice to their questions.
Please check out the site take the tour of our site, download our free
